Goodbye Charlottesville

Charlottesville is an interesting little town. We've been here 15 months, and there are things I love about it and things I hate. This post is about the things I love.

The staff and food at Tavola
This would have been our go-to date night just because it's the only place in town that HB hasn't had a reaction from (meaning their food really is fresh and prepared right!). Thankfully the great food was always accompanied with stellar service and a great ambiance.

The history
HB and I both love history, and the Charlottesville area has had plenty for us to go do and see.

Fridays after Five
Friday's after Five is such a fun little event. It's a great free date and Charlottesville is small enough that you don't have to deal with crowds. Also, the people watching is fantastic.

Wine tasting
This is probably the thing I'll miss the most. The greenery of the country and the great mountain views are NOT something we will get in southern Florida.

Apple/Peach/Pumpkin picking
It doesn't get any better than cooking with freshly picked foods.
