Cold Weather = New Clothes

This weekend was the first big temperature drop we've had. The high on Sunday was 54 degrees! I went out to do my grocery shopping on Sunday in jeans, flip flops, and a ratty old sweater, and realized that if I planned on going outside ever I was going to need to go shopping for some real clothes.

One thing I desperately need is a good pair of boots that I can wear in the rain and the snow. I absolutely love the ones the girl has on here:

But they don't sell those anymore. The closest I can find are these, but I don't know what they look like on and there is no store within two hours that sells them. I could just order them and send them back if they didn't work, but I haven't figured out if it's worth the back and forth shipping costs.

Another thing I need is a cute coat. One that doesn't make me look like a blimp. And has long sleeves so that they actually cover my arms.

This one is so cute, and I'm hoping I can find one locally just like it. What I really want is a cute leather jacket but I know that the cropped look isn't going to do anything for me when it's freezing outside. 

As much as I hate shopping, I'm going to do a big trip this weekend. We'll see what I pick up!
